USER GUIDE

Get started with your workspace.

From your first project to the camera report.

1. Sign in

Open the workspace and sign in with ChatGPT to save projects and files to your account.

Trial and plans

Choose one tool and one project on the Plans page. This is a one-time account selection, with no payment card or automatic renewal. Monthly and annual plans are not available for purchase yet. Other tools require full access. Your stored projects and files are preserved.

2. Create a project

Set a name, project type, camera, lenses and shoot date. Prep, set and post tools link to this project. Check the project selector before working in a section.

3. Import scout frames

Export JPG frames or a PDF shotlist from Artemis/Cadrage, then upload them under Prep → Artemis / Cadrage. Read optional EXIF/GPS data and add a frame to the shot board. PDFs remain attachments; their frames are not extracted.

4. Plan light and equipment

Enter location, date and the UTC offset for the shoot date in Sun Planning. Build equipment lists from the catalog and accessory categories. Coverage requires the active recording area and lens image circle. Enter missing dimensions manually.

5. Present your visual approach

Upload references, extract a palette and complete the DoP treatment. Use the PDF button, then choose “Save as PDF / Print”.

6. Explore Color Lab

Open Color Lab. Select source profile, EI and full/legal range. Compare Log/Grade and adjust curves and look controls. Histogram and waveform measure the selected raster. Load a suitable technical .cube to export a Log-to-grade LUT; draft tone mapping is not exported.

7. Record set and post notes

Create a daily camera report and add take rows. Upload draft stills in Colorist Revisions with timecodes, versions and notes. Export PDF, CSV or TXT files for your crew.

8. Invite your crew

Open “Crew / Invite” in a project. Enter an email and share the generated link yourself. It is valid for 7 days and must be accepted by a ChatGPT account with the invited email. Members can view the shot board and equipment, download all project files and leave shared notes. Project editing stays with the owner. Use Refresh for the latest records. Owners can remove access from the member list.

Limits and support

Image previews support JPG/PNG/WebP. Use professional color-managed software for ARRIRAW and high-bit-depth sources. Upload limits are 20 MB per file and 200 MB per account. If saving fails, download a backup before continuing.
